Yorkshire Wildlife Park 12.03.2024

On Tuesday, Year 6 visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park as part of our science topic on Evolution. We spent the morning visiting all the animal enclosures; the polar bears and tigers proved very popular with all! The polar bears in particular were in a playful mood and were very much putting on a show - diving in the pools and communicating with each other. We then spent an hour with one of the education specialists at the park - Rachel - who gave us a lesson based on the animals in the park and how they were adapted and had evolved to suit their natural environments. We even had time to have a play after eating our lunch!!
