Commando Joes 26.06.23

Today the children were set a challenge linked to their previous learning challenge about the Great Fire of London. They had to work out how to transport water from the River Thames to put out the fire. The only problem was, there were obstacles in their way and all of the leather buckets and fire squirts had been lost to the flames. The children had to use their...hands!

The character behaviours we were looking for in this lesson, were Teamwork, Communication skills and Resilience alongside problem solving. We found out quickly that this was not an easy task especially with small hands.
