Waterproof Experiment 25.01.2019

Year 2 became super scientists today! They were on a mission to help Percy Penguin find a new suitable material to keep him dry as his preen gland that makes his feathers waterproof had stopped working. The children made some excellent predictions and then tested lots of different materials to see if they were waterproof. There were a few materials that surprised us. Next week, the children are going to discuss what they found and decide on the best material for Percy.
