Cabbage Printing
Over the holidays Mrs Bennett harvested some cabbages from her allotment. She had grown so many she didn't know what to do with them! So today reception experimented mark making with them. The children experienced applying paint to the cabbage leaves and using a printing roller to create prints on paper. The children used problem solving skills to see how much paint they should apply to their leaves and the amount of pressure they needed to apply onto the roller. The children used different colours on the leaves and created some fantastic works of art.
