'Eggstra' Special Delivery
Shortly after registration on Tuesday, Reception received a very special delivery. Mrs Hicks had been up to the office to drop off the registers and appeared back in class carrying an extremely large and heavy box marked 'fragile'. We discussed what this word means and then made some predictions about what might be in the box. Some children thought it could be glass, some thought a snake because the air holes in the box and one child even thought that it could be a statue of Mrs Hicks! We carefully opened the box to discover that it was a very large egg! The children then spent the morning making predictions about what might be in the egg. We shall have to wait and see until it hatches...
