Garden Investigators 30.04.19

Habitat Investigation

 

As part of our new learning challenge, 'Can a camel live in the North Pole,' Year 4 recently conducted an investigation into the various habitats that are present in the school garden. Armed with pooters, magnifying glasses and petri dishes, the children safely and kindly collected insects which were then sketched onto their investigation sheets and collated a list of the various trees and plants which grow there. The children were really interested in their investigation and can't wait to use all their information to produce their factual reports this week!
