Art project 07.01.22
The children learnt about and created an artist study about the artist Tan Zi Xi who is from Singapore and creates illustrations and installations, which demonstrate the effect pollution and plastic waste is having on the environment (particularly the ocean).
The children then used line drawings and watercolours to create a landfill picture before learning a new skill called pointillism where they created a green landscape using only dots.
Their final piece showed both of these pieces of art layered together to show the contrast between landfill and a beautiful landscape depending on which way you look at it.
