In maths this week, children have been consolidating their knowledge of fractions. Children
have been building on their understanding of numerators and denominators to unitise fractions and add them together. They have been reading calculations such as 1/5 + 2/5 and applying their knowledge that when the denominator is the same, all they have to do is add the numerator!
They have achieved great success in adding and subtracting factions this week - we have been super impressed!
