Remembrance Sunday artwork 06.11.20
In PSHE this afternoon, children learnt all about Remembrance Day and the symbolic meaning of the poppy. We thought that this was super important so that they understood why they had been donating money this week. We had a really mature conversation about World War One and how the poppy is a symbol to remember the people who sadly lost their lives during the war. We then created some gorgeous silhouette art for a window display in the annex!
