India Day
Year 4 had a fantastic start to the Summer term and their new learning challenge today - the children took part in lots of different activities which were designed to give them an insight into Indian culture. The children were split into groups and completed a carousel of activities which included cooking a spinach, sweet potato and lentil dahl, researching the human and physical geographical features of India, tasting a range of Indian cuisine (including their own dahl!) and taking part in a Bollywood dance workshop with Reetu. The children had a lovely day and really enjoyed starting to learn about India, we can't wait to find out more over the next half term!
