Blast to the past!
In year 1, the children have been learning all about the past and answering the big question “Who came before me?”. Whilst working in provision the children have demonstrated their new understanding of chronological order through creating their own family tree. Not only this, the children created a “real life” timeline travelling all the way back to the 1960’s, back to when their grandparents were born. The children were thoroughly immersed in this activity and enjoyed dressing up as their parents and grandparents to create a real life timeline!
