Snow day at home

Wow, it looks like the children at home have also had a great day playing out in the snow. Children's Mental Health week's theme is 'Express yourself' - well it seems that our children have been doing just that with all their snow creations. I am very impressed by the snowmen that have been built or in some cases, the snow families! Really great to see the children looking so happy, with big smiles on their faces enjoying the great outdoors....a positive thing to do to support children's mental health. Well done everyone!

It is Children's Mental Health week this week and so getting out to have fun in the snow is a perfect way to enjoy being outside which is good for everyone's mental health. Also what a great way to make some memories! The children in school enjoyed some fun playing in the snow on the school field today. There were snowball fights...the staff definitely lost against the children! Reception children built a hungry caterpillar out of snow and other year groups built some brilliant snowmen. Some children made snow angels and other just had fun playing their own games in the snow.
