KS2 Author Visit
Fri 04 Mar 2022Author and illustrator Kate Pankhurst visited KS2 on World Book Day to talk about her 'Fantastically Great Women' book series and her process as an author and an illustrator. The children had a brilliant afternoon asking questions and doing some practical drawing work under the tuition of Kate. The children were then able to get books signed and talk one-to-one with Kate. It was a fantastic culmination to a fantastic World Book Day.

KS1 Author Visit
Wed 02 Mar 2022Author and illustrator Bethan Woollvin visited Years 1 and 2 to talk about her life as a writer and the books she writes. Bethan read her most recent picture book, 'Three Little Vikings' and then gave the children a virtual guided tour of her workshop where she does all her writing and drawing/painting. The children then got to work on creating their own collages of a Troll using coloured paper shapes. Afterwards, Bethan took the time to answer questions and then signed books for the children. Everyone had a fantastic time and we are extremely grateful to Bethan for her visit.
