Arts Week 08.01.24
Year 2 had great fun this week during arts week. We began with week listening to the Plumber drummer who uses pipes and flip flops to play lots of songs for us. We also had great fun learning dances from the Urban dance studio. Leeds Playhouse also taught us about freeze framing and how to create scenes from the Three Little Pigs. We also completed an art project this week based on reptile prints. We looked at the different patterns and colours using pictures of reptiles and created our own pattern. We used pencils to etch our patterns into polystyrene and we printed these onto paper using a range of colours.
