Week 7 

Good Morning Reception!

I hope you are all well and have had a fun weekend. Mrs Bennett, Mrs Ashley Cooper and I have filmed another little video  for you all to watch, we hope you enjoy them!

I have also filmed myself reading ‘Supertato Vegies Assemble', which is on Tapestry for you to watch. Supertato is our theme this week so we have gone a bit vegetable crazy with our learning ideas. There is a new learning grid, which has lots of fun activities linked to the book. Please remember you do not have to do all of these activities, choose the ones which interest you the most and spend around 30 minutes concentrating on the task. As well as completing tasks on the learning grid, it is very important to keep up phonics practice; do a quick round of sounds and tricky word flashcards. Use Oxford Owls to find books that you can read by decoding and blending, they also have fun activities for you to do at the end, once you have read the book. Phonics Play is also a great website to practise phonics.
