This week, Year two started a new writing topic. We received a mysterious envelope which read ‘beware of the magic.’ Inside we found 5 magic paint brushes. Each table painted different objects to test the paint brushes. We painted Lego, money, chocolate, teddies and dinosaurs. We brought the paintings into another classroom to dry. Ms Harris could not believe it when she saw something had happened. The classes went back to inspect their paintings and the objects had become real! The paint brushes were magic! We then read a story called the magic paintbrush. It is about a young boy called Ho who receives a magic paint brush, uses it to get rid of the rich farmer and helps the poor villagers.
