Bolton Abbey 31.01.23
Bolton Abbey - Geography trip:
Year three had so much fun today exploring Bolton Abbey, luckily the rain stayed away and we got beautiful January sun! We spent time walking around and spotting the features of the rivers; such as the meander and the flood plain and of course, admiring the beautiful views. Afterwards, we had a go at sketching the abbey and the grounds around it. We have recently been practicing drawing landscapes at school, inspired by Claude Monet, and it was really lovely to have a go sketching outside like a real artist!
