Trip to the Gurdwara
As part of their learning about Sikhism, the children in Year 5 visited the Gurdwara in Leeds this week. The children were given a tour of the Gurdwara before being shown exactly what happens when Sikhs go to the Gurdwara to worship. The tour of the Gurdwara was topped off with an amazing pre-lunch feast of vegetable dahl, soup and rice! The children all had a fantastic time and were really engaged with learning more about the practicalities of Sikhism and the work that they do for their community!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
