Year 2 had a fantastic trip to a local church. As we arrived at the church Gareth the Vicar warmly welcomes us in and allowed some children to ring the bells! Once we got in side Gareth set up a competition to see which team could make the tallest tower out of the prayer mats. Gareth then showed us the traditional clothes a vicar wears and dressed some of us up! We then gathered around the alter and Gareth explained the different items used during Sunday service. We were then invited up to the organ where some children had the opportunity to create their own melodies! Finally Gareth spoke about the 10 commandments where we reminded about Christian values.
