Parachute Investigation
Today in science, the children were investigating how different sizes of parachutes has an impact on the amount of air resistance they create. Their aim was the create the slowest falling parachute. We had a range of different materials on offer such as fleece, plastic, cotton and tulle.
From our investigation, we discovered that the larger the surface area, the slower the parachute fell.
