Rodley Nature Reserve
This week Year 4 visited Rodley nature reserve as part of our current learning challenge,'Could a camel live in the north pole?' The children were welcomed by the fantastic volunteers at the reserve and treated to a day of engaging outdoor learning. All the children loved the experience and it was really great to see them interacting with their learning and developing a good understanding of wetlands habitats. Children created sticky board artworks using natural grass and found material, had a go at pond dipping, learnt how to use binoculars to spot wetlands birds and even had a talk all about flowers and their importance in the natural world!
