'What was life like when our grandparents were children?'
The afternoon can only be described as INCREDIBLE and we cannot thank you enough for sharing your stories, photos and memorabilia with the staff and children in Year 1.
The effort grandparents went to was above and beyond. This meant that we were able to introduce the children to new experiences e.g. comparing photographs, technology, playing music on record players and we even got a chance to play with toy's from the 60s.
It was a fabulous afternoon and the Year 1 staff were delighted to see the children so engaged and in awe whilst talking to you. We know that this will form one of the children's fondest memories of Springbank!
