Aerospace Engineers

On Monday, Year 6 kicked off science week by exploring the question 'Does the length of a paper aeroplane affect how far it will fly?'. We began by creating a prediction and then constructed different sized paper aeroplanes in pairs. Then it was time to test out our predictions and fly our planes. we found out that due to the thrust to weight ratio -  longer plane tended to fly further!
