Flame Experimentation 04.05.21
As part of their Great Fire of London topic, the children are completing a mixed media art project. So far, the children have learnt about primary and secondary colours and how to mix primary colours to make shades of secondary colours.
They have also looked and critiqued existing Great Fire of London art work.
This week, the children discussed the colours and shapes they could see within flames and fire and using different media, they experimented with different techniques to show different shapes and forms of flames in their sketchbooks.
The children used paint, watercolours, collage, wax crayons, colouring pencils and felt tips to create their flame experimentation and labelled which media they used.
