Today, Year 4 went to the Yorkshire Agricultural Show at Harrogate showground. Linking with their topic of habitats last half term and sustainable living this half term, the children completed a range of activities such as: pond dipping, fossil finding, learning about how wool is gathered, cleaned and made into clothing/ items, growing strawberries and making things out of natural resources. There were also other things to see such as a parade of farmyard animals, birds of prey, ferrets and a sheep show where the children witnessed sheep performing their best dance moves!
