4L Trip to Rodley Nature Reserve
Year 4 had a brilliant time at Rodley Nature reserve today! We started the day with a nature walk where we got to explore the nature reserve whilst creating our own pictures using nature. We managed to create some wonderful images from plants, stones and objects found along our walk. We also used this time to spot some of the birds we could see from the many hides in the reserve - one group even managed to spot a kingfisher which was amazing! In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to learn and spot woodland birds such as finches and magpies, pond dip and learn about bees. The volunteers who ran this day were so impressed with our behaviour and we had such a great day! Well done, year 4!
