History Investigation
This afternoon the children were investigating the impact that the Industrial Revolution had on Britain. We started our investigation by creating timelines of British history and comparing them to ones of the world. We talked about where the Industrial Revolution fitted into these timelines and speculated as to why this might be. The children then got into groups and investigated some primary and secondary sources about the event, eventually finding answers about what Britain was like before and after the revolution.
