Recycling Centre Trip!
On Friday 22nd March 2019, Year 4 visited the Veolia recycling centre in Cross Gates. The children were able to reflect on their learning from the environmental topic as well as learn lots of new and interesting facts about how our rubbish is recycled in Leeds! The children were given a tour of the facility, viewing the rubbish grabber, the control room - where some lucky children were even able to control the grabber and the living wall which takes up all of one side of the building! All in all the children spent a lovely few hours at the centre and all came back feeling very enthusiastic about recycling!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
