World War One Workshop
This half term in History, the children have been learning all about World War One. They consolidated some of their learning today by applying what they knew to our local area and learning more about Farsley's role in the war.
During the workshop the children completed a number of activities including: looking at the different cloths that were produced for the soldier and officer's uniforms, trying on some of the coats that were made from the cloth, learning more about the role of a tailor in the war, looking at war medals and postcards as well as designing their own medal and postcard.
The children all had a wonderful time and can't wait for the second part of the workshop on Thursday!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
