Pasta Sauce 03.07.19
This week the children designed, made and tasted their very own pasta sauce. After planting some vegetables back in the Spring time, the children got to experience what it was like preparing and cooking their very own produce (and some from the shop!). Firstly, the children tasted and evaluated existing pasta sauces. They then designed their own recipes and voted in their group to choose the overall winner. The children then prepared the ingredients and cooked their pasta sauce before eventually getting to eat it with some pasta and cheese. Most children were very brave and ate some or all of their pasta sauce. Finally, the children evaluated their own work and wrote about it in their books.
