Harewood House
Yesterday, the year 3 children were fortunate enough to visit the beautiful Harewood House as part of their plants topic. When they arrived, the children conducted a plant and wildlife survey, exploring the gardens and grounds for a variety of different flowering plants including; Primulas, Cobra Lillies, Blue Poppies and Rhododendron. They then visited the bird garden and were lucky enough to see some penguins and flamingos! After a spot of lunch and of course, some time on the adventure playground, the children partook in a farm experience - seeing a variety of different animals and their habitats.
