Everyday the children spend time in provision consolidating their learning for the week and building their social skills. This week, the children are learning about ordinal numbers so we set up some races and tracks for them to use. We are continuing to develop their understanding of maths symbols so we have two activities set up to consolidate their understanding. Some children are struggling to order numbers and remember which are smaller than others so we have several numberline activities set out to support their understanding.
In one of the tuff trays, we have set up a traditional story scene for the children to retell and reinvent the tale. Have a look at these activities and more in the photos.
