Skipping Lessons
Today Reception had a great skipping lesson from the legendary skipper, Chris! Chris visits our school every year in Health Week and teaches the children skipping skills which they then build on in the playground. Reception had a great time, mastering how to hold a skipping rope and turning it... they even impressed us with their ability to jump over the rope! The children then had a go at jumping whilst the teachers turned the skipping rope, it was a tough skill to learn but everyone persevered and managed at least one jump, if not more! We hope to see the children use their new found skills in the playground.
