Autumn Walk 10.10.23
The children went outside on a particularly warm day to spot the signs that autumn is coming. Part of Year 1's Science throughout the year is observing seasonal change. They spotted fallen leaves, leaves that had changed colour & conkers. In the classroom, they also learnt about events that are celebrated in autumn such as Harvest, Halloween and Bonfire night as well as what weather types are typically seen in autumn. They also learnt about animal behaviour in autumn such as squirrels collected food to hide for winter.
