What an amazing trip! I don’t know who enjoyed themselves the most, the staff or the children!
As soon as we stepped onto the snow the children felt the cold air on their cheeks and icy cold snow beneath their feet. During our History lessons, the children have been learning about lots of different explorers and the challenges they faced during their adventures. The children made links to Robert Falcon Scott’s expedition and experienced what It would be like rescuing someone on top of a cold icy slope. I must say the teachers were in very safe hands! The highlight of the trip for the children and staff was most definitely sledging! We heard lots of laughter and giggles from start to finish.
