World Book Day 02.03.23
What an incredible day celebrating all things BOOK related!
We started the day with a whole school assembly to look at all the wonderful costumes created by the children and staff across the school. We did our very own costume parade through the year 1 classrooms and got excited when we heard an important announcement over the tannoy to...Drop Everything And Read!!
This afternoon the children have enjoyed doing a range of activities relating to books such as making book marks, writing stories, making their own tiny books, recording stories on Ipads, a scavenger hunt, making fact files from non-fiction books and lots more. It has been great to see the children so engaged in World Book Day and we can't wait for next year...
