DT Pop up Books 12.11.20
The children began their first DT project this week. They were given a brief to make a moving picture suitable for a child in year 1-2. First of all, we talked about what a moving picture is and what they are used for. Next, we discussed the different types of mechanisms that could be used such as slider, levers and pivots.
Finally the children spent some time exploring different pop-up books and tried to find the different mechanisms within them. They were really curious to find out how the pictures worked and they are excited to continue with the project next week.
