Cartwright Hall 21.05.24
In Year 2 we had an exciting trip to Cartwright Hall! During this half term, we focused on learning about David Hockney. Our gallery visit allowed us to explore his artwork and techniques up close. We carefully examined his pieces, practiced sketching and experimented with oil pastels, just like Hockney! We also had the chance to create digital art on an iPad and try our hand at printing. It was a delightful day and we learnt many fascinating facts about Hockey. To top it off, we wrapped up the day in the local park!
