Shadow puppets 10.05.2022

Shadow puppets - Light

In science today, the children investigated how shadows are formed. They looked at a variety of opaque, translucent and transparent materials and decided which material would be best to make a puppet from. The children all picked cardboard as we had discovered that opaque materials form the best shadows as they block the light whereas other materials caused a fainter shadow.
