Christmas Sewing
As part of this half term's DT project, all of the children are designing and sewing a Christmas decoration. The children began by researching different decorations in order to produce a specific set of design criteria for their decoration. They have also spent time practising their running stitch and learning how to use a blanket stitch to join two pieces of fabric. This week the children have designed three possible decorations and then after consulting with their peers picked their final design. Next week the children will carefully cut out their felt and begin stitching their final piece. Wish them luck!
