Good Morning Reception!
I hope you are all well and have had a lovely half term! Mrs Bennett is now having a rest before her baby is due, but before she left for maternity leave she did some fantastic learning activities around the story 'Stuck'. I hope you all enjoy the learning grid this week and are able to send in some photos or videos of what you are doing at home. Please remember you do not have to do all of these activities, choose the ones which interest you the most and spend around 30 minutes concentrating on the task.
As well as completing tasks on the learning grid, it is very important to keep up phonics practise; do a quick round of sounds and tricky word flashcards. Use Oxford Owls to find books that you can read by decoding and blending, they also have fun activities for you to do at the end, once you have read the book. Phonics Play is also a great website to practise phonics.
If you need any help please email any of the reception teachers and we will do our best to help you out.
Enjoy your week and keep safe,
Miss Charles and Mrs Ashley-Cooper
