The tomb of Tutankhamun:
Today in topic, the children were transported back to 1922 and joined Howard Carter on his mission to uncover Tutankhamun's tomb in the famous Valley of the Kings. Aided by candlelight and lanterns, the children made their way through to the pharaoh's lost burial ground and used the artefacts that surrounded his tomb as evidence to uncover the secrets about his life. Using primary and secondary sources, the children worked out that Tutankhamun was only 9 years old when he became King!
