Carriageworks Theatre 09.09.21
Today Year 3 visited the Carriageworks Theatre to be part of the Leeds International piano competition, which brings pianists from all over the world! We have all had a very enjoyable day getting involved in a range of exciting workshops exploring and celebrating all things piano.
We started the day with a live mini music concert from some of the piano ambassadors. They played a range of pieces to us and we were invited onto the stage to watch the inside of the piano and how it works. Some of the music was relaxing however the fast paced pieces made us want to get up and dance! Another workshop we did was a seed potting session. We learnt about different vegetables, mini beasts and even made our own compost pots. We also got involved in a piano craft session were we made a person made out of old pianos! Finally we relaxed and enjoyed some yoga whilst listening to different piano pieces. What a fantastic day!
