Microhabitats 09.05.23
The children used their scientific enquiry skill of 'Identifying, Classifying and Grouping' today by going out into the school garden to look for microhabitats and identify the organisms that live their. We learnt that the garden is a habitat itself, but that microhabitats are tiny habitats such as under a rock or a pile of rotting leaves. We spotted slugs, snails, flies, spiders, woodlice and ants!
