Does the sun move? 17.09.19

Year 5 designed and took part in a day long experiment today. We set up a post in the play ground and went out every hour to measure the movement of the shadows. From this, we had some interesting discussions about why the sun appears to move position in the sky and what this could tell us about movement of the earth. The children all enjoyed their experiment and are turning into brilliant scientists!
