Winter Walk
We started the afternoon by heading outdoors to see if we could spot any signs of winter. The children spotted bare trees, berries growing and melted ice on the picnic tables. We took lots of photographs of everything we found, as well as making sure we were using our senses and writing down everything we could see, hear and feel.
Weather investigators
When we returned to the classroom we began learning about weather. We spent time at a variety of stations having a go at making our own rain cloud, creating a weather forecast, dressing for different seasons and more.
We all had a brilliant afternoon and learnt so much about seasons and weather. Thank you to Mrs Pugh our placement teacher for planning such a fantastic afternoon!
