Last week, Year 5 took part in their first drama workshop with Leeds Playhouse. They engaged in a range of activities to get to know their new drama teacher for this half term, and they started to think about activities in which people would and wouldn't do during WW1. They represented these activities with a freeze frame and the audience had to guess what they were trying to represent!
Building on from that, this week the children were asked to think of three still frames that would represent the thoughts and feelings a soldier in a trench. They had to think carefully about their body language and facial expression in order to tell a story without words.
Have a look at some of our work below and see if you can guess our story!
