Water Resistance
Today, we continued our work on forces by looking at water resistance. We designed a range of 3D shapes which we tested in water. During this, we thought about ways to make it a fair test including ensuring that the weight of the plasticine was kept the same, the distance from the water and the amount of water remained constant. From this, we discovered which were the shapes that are most streamlined. We discovered that many of them can be seen in nature.
