Introduction to Electricity 09.11.2021
Today, year 4 were introduced to their new topic for this half term... electricity! First, we looked at what an electrical appliance was and learnt that some are battery powered and others are main powered. We then categorised objects into electrical and non-electrical items. After, we then looked at constructing a simple circuit and learnt about the main components that make up a circuit. The children then worked with their learning partners and other children on their table to create circuits and test circuits to find out whether they were complete or incomplete.
