Science Investigation 07.09.2021
To kick off our science topic based around light, children had chance to use some of the equipment we have to investigate how light travels. We started our lesson with a game of 'Teach me, Tell me' which helps the children to teach each other key vocabulary. The game is repeated numerous times so children learn through repetition - we will keep coming back to these key pieces of vocabulary throughout our topic to help the children retain the knowledge which they will then apply to investigations and experiments later on. After we had recapped our key vocab, we used the equipment to set up a small investigation to help us prove that light travels in straight lines.
